Meet fellow blogger babe Niki Blasina. Niki is the brain (and beauty) behind personal style blog A Haute Mess, and a recent addition to the NYC area (she’s originally from Canada). I’ve been following her blog since this past summer, finding her unique style and sense of humor oh so refreshing, especially when compared to the sea of fashion blogs out there making cupcakes and duck lips.

A couple weeks ago, I met with Niki over Bloody Mary’s, and after getting just the right amount of drunk, I offered to take pictures for her blog – she was in need of a photographer and I’m in need of practice (plus, new friend!). Fortunately, Niki is plenty photogenic, making my job easy.
